Though I agree the Godzilla run doesn't look quite right. Fucks with the scale. But again, these have gone full ridiculous mode so whatever.

Just wanan say my dumbass JUST realized right now re-watching it on youtube that in KOTM when Godzilla goes nuclear, his nuclear surges have Mothra patterns in the flames and the Mothra screech/sound too. I really am a dumbass.
Watch the blast at 49 seconds and listen to the sound. Mothra wings in the flames and definitely the Mothra cry/scream. Makes soooo much more sense now with the sacrifice, which I assumed was just to help Godzilla get up again but obviously did more than that, especially with all the scientists seemingly confused about how powerful he was becoming, saying whatever Serizowa did worked too well, etc. Turns out it wasn't just the nuke juice.
Relatedly, I love the look of Godzilla in that scene, terrifying, and also the way he's almost smiling at Ghidora at the minute mark as Ghidora is blasting him with the lightnting like "Dude you're fucked now" lol Also lmao at whoever did CC on that video
I can't count the number of gorditas I got trying to spell out Godzilla and get a Nintendo 64. A couple times I sent them back claiming they were "cold" so I could get another wrapper with a game piece on it lol.
Up until they decide to look for the babies it’s an average monster film that is at least entertaining. I can still rewatch it up to that point. The baby Godzilla scenes have always felt like a rip off of the Jurassic Park raptors and I’m pretty sure that’s what Emmerich was going for. Should have left that one in the writer’s room.
