The problem with '98 Godzilla is that I find the vast majority of the main characters unbearable which comes down to the abysmal script, I would rather have no attempt at characterisation like Varan than a bad attempt.

 

I just rewatched it recently and the first 45 minutes or so are fun and then it gets really bad and almost unwatchable.

 

The script is pretty bad but I love watching NY get rampaged. The chase scene after they lure Godzilla with fish is great.

Nice to see our top three matches up and I'm sure I will in time, how quickly I get around to seeing them depends on if I can find anywhere to watch them with the same ease as the first fifteen.
