For anyone interested in web-documentaries on the Godzilla franchise, this user makes some top of the art videos. I came across the videos (one for each Godzilla film) a few days ago and each one is pretty lengthy and dense. Whoever made them did his homework.
Godzilla and Kaiju Monster TV Series In the Works From Legendary, Apple "Sci-fi vet Chris Black, who worked on Star Trek Enterprise, and comic book author Matt Fraction are the co-creators of the show based on Legendary's creature on the loose movies known as the Monsterverse" https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t...8cde128a4b3edaafeee19fe3a9ac5aaf38696c24eeca4
More Godzilla is always awesome, but I want two things: more Rodan, because Rodan is fucking awesome and I won't hear otherwise, and for one day there to be a Godzilla vs. Gamera. It will never happen, because God hates us.
Hopefully this show will allow some more of Godzilla’s friends and enemies to appear. Showing some of the ancient civilization that Godzilla interacted with would also put this show to great use.
After watching G14 I can safely say it’s the film that got it right. The tone is great. The only thing missing is the traditional Fukube music. So much better than GvK in terms of a Godzilla film.
Awesome. I need more crotchety old man Godzilla action in my life. "HEY! HEY YOU! I SEE YOU DOWN THERE IN THAT HOLE! DON'T MAKE ME COME DOWN THERE!"
