This was really fun. Totally agree that Universal should be announcing next week they’re making this into a ride.

I never thought that once in this movie, feel like agreeing to not think that at all is a prerequisite for watching it lol
I’m the not fun guy that is constantly overthinking dumb shit in movies and I didn’t even really have those thoughts watching this. I think I literally was too amped about even watching it at all

Maybe it’s because I haven’t been in a theater in 16 months, but the opening credits alone melted my brain. Movie kicks ass.
Also this was one of the fastest 2hr movies I’ve ever watched. Probably could have been longer tbh. And more time spent in Hollow Earth, which could probably be a whole Jurassic Park-sequel movie itself Before the evil daughter got her HEAV casually crushed by Kong, I was totally expecting her to try to fly through the hole that Godzilla just created only for Godzilla to shoot another beam when she’s halfway through
All I’m saying is that Kong had an axe in the 2nd fight and Godzilla still left him to die. That’s pretty embarrassing for Kong. The film had Godzilla win not once, but twice in a 1v1. Godzilla is just too alpha.
Yeah all the fake computer stuff measuring Godzilla and Kong during the opening credits made me lol, there was a note that said "Atomic breath!!" And it gave me flashbacks to the white board in A Quiet Place
king of the monsters is worse than i remembered but the fight scenes are better rodan vs. big homie is fun
Some of the fight shots in KOTM legit look like biblical paintings lol was amazing to see in theaters
