I'm so happy for Wingard right now

 

Love Wingard but have no interest in this franchise anymore.

Glad for him though.

 

I've really enjoyed everything I've seen of Wingard's so this is great news. More interested in Godzilla 2 right now though, specifically because I'm looking forward to seeing Legendary's versions of Mothra, Rodan, & Ghidorah.

 

Loved when Wingard was still into having original ideas

Totally in. As someone who pretty consistently doesn't care about the Marvel/DC universes being built currently, I'm for some reason all about the MonsterVerse

 

If Legendary gets the rights to Gamera then this universe will be insane.

Toho is launching a Kaiju cinematic universe. They aren't able to start Godzilla until 2021, but this is still awesome news.

Awesome for us. Might not be awesome news for Legendary. I don’t know if Toho will let Legendary renew the rights. Godzilla vs Kong may be the end of Legendary’s Monsterverse.

 

I liked Kong: Skull Island, so I'll check this out.

 

I’m very curious why this movie is even happening (from a story perspective), but I’m very into it. Godzilla was awesome, Skull Island was okay.

 

Fantastic! I want to see BTH in more movies.
