Millennium Godzilla is back

 

Apparently Shin Godzilla isn’t on streaming? Saw something that it will be on HBO Max soon?

 

it’s due to Funimation losing the rights. Gkids has it now. The physical blu-ray/4K release is October 28th. I expect a Max release around that date

 

First permanent store outside of Japan is opening in Taipei this Friday. Gonna have to check it out

Alamo drafthouse down the street from me has more showings of Godzilla 1985 this week. Might check it out.

THR is reporting that Minus Zero will film in New Zealand and Norway later this year.

 

Hopefully they get like twice the budget as last time, for even bigger Godzilla destructive power

 

They have already filmed some hospital scenes in Japan and, according to set props, begin filming an attack scene this week. Makes me wonder what the New Zealand and Norway shoots will be

We also know that the two main leads, the boat crew, and the neighbor are all returning. I’m pretty sure this is the first time an entire crew of characters is returning for a Toho Godzilla film.
