Hell yea, fuck yes

 

This is a far more aggressive record than I would have expected from them. Occupies similarly bleak territory as Epitaph did, and pushes into post-black metal at times. The most I've enjoyed an album of theirs in a while - maybe it's just my current headspace - it's a melodically rich offering that's as mournful and introspective as I've ever heard them, not to mention crushingly heavy in places.

 

That sounds awesome! Age of the fifth sun still my fav album from them, damn good

 

Pleasant first listen, gotta admit it does feel a little bit like they're just coasting which is fine, but not bad overall

 

Lol that's how it has felt for most of their discography

 

Yeah, I honestly feel the same way haha. Every album I have enjoyed, but fuck if I could ever tell you what differentiates one from another
