Coloring Book is without a doubt the best thing the band has put out, and they've put out some damn good stuff. The first time I heard "Daytona White", it was like a punch to the gut. Still is.

But we have Worship & Tribute which is one of the best albums ever

 

2002 though. I mean, at least they've released EPs since then but if you go that long without releasing an album you should probably just stop being a band.

 

They can do what they want if they have a new album they'll release it when it's ready

 

Whilst keeping hardcore fans continually out of the loop, promising new music then not delivering and being very inconsistent in a live environment.

 

You guys are killing me.

 

I mean Coloring Book/OCG is such a solid piece of work I wouldn't mind that being their last release, but then they talked about a new album. Then released that song, and were playing other new stuff so it's annoying.

 

If the gap between w&t and the EPs is any indication, it's worth the weight with this band. Do I wish they had released a new album by now? Yes, but I can wait. They'll release it when it's ready.

I also never expected them to make anything else after the EPs, so yea anything new is just a nice surprise for me at this point.

 

I was expecting some kind of news. Shit.

If I recall from that podcast with Beck, they haven't (at that point) even started recording the album.

 

I don't know about that. Didn't they post Lennon on their website in 2008?

 

I thought the guy from DEP already tracked drums for the new one.

 

I got a NEW WHITE EXTREMITY t-shirt when they came to my area last January... with all the racial stuff going on lately, I don't feel comfortable wearing it out in public :(

It doesn't even say Glassjaw on it, just the 1993/GJ logo and I have a feeling I won't be able to explain it to anyone if I inadvertently offended someone who thought I was some white supremacist.
