Something about seeing the Beck playing next to himself like a twin just doing that locked in groove thing is cracking me up.

 

I was watching on my phone so I did like a quadruple take over whether or not I was seeing double.

Lol it feels almost like a videogame in the character select screen

 

He did it again, it’s basically Black Nurse reimagined but I’ll welcome more attempts at this while we’re probably still years away from new material. More people need to get introduced to Glassjaw’s brillance

 

lol I saw that yesterday. His Beck raincoat was perfect as well

 

It’s not as perfect as the Please, Please, Please one, but it’s still pretty solid and I love that he went for the Coloring Book era this time. The Beck impression was funny.

 

Band was good at Blissmas yesterday. Almost as entertaining was hearing and watching the people behind me who had never heard of Glassjaw before

 

how are you into any of those bands and not know glassjaw lol

 

Yea they sounded pretty good the other night, even though i do get a little tired of them playing similar sets for the last uhhh 20 years haha

 

spinning Our Color Green atm and uh this might be my favorite EP of all time??? definitely my single favorite GJ release. Coloring Book is right behind it tho.

 

I was just doing a discography run for the first time in a while the other day, and realized that Coloring Book and Our Color Green are my top two. Coloring Book might slightly edge out OCG for me but they’re both so amazing - the band really was on fire creatively during that time period.

 

I am a fiend for heavy GJ, so I think that’s why it gets the edge over CB for me. ALSO gotta say Material Control is so so good and feels like such a logical and cool progression to me from those EPs.

 

I wish I never sold my Jesus Glue and Natural Born Farmer singles

 

Our Color Green is so, so good and underrated. Coloring Book is cool too, but not my personal fave of their discography

 

Coloring Book is my favorite EP ever for sure. Tangential but always been annoyed by the people that say they should have just combined the two together to make an album, they’re completely different vibes and it doesn’t make any sense. I’ve seen a million proposed tracklists and they’re all bad

 

People actually say that? That’s crazy. There’s no way you could ever make that work

 

(slowly puts away his playlist combining the two releases while looking shiftily across the room)

 

I've done the same back in the day. I remember many attempts at combining them on the ap.net thread but I've since forgot what the revamped tracklist I used looked like. It even had its own artwork, which I believe was proposed by someone on the Glassjaw boards (RIP). Agree that they sound better separate though.

 

Our Color Green fucking rules. John Fucking Lennon might be my favorite Glassjaw song.

 

I think it is their most definitive song tbh, might also be my favorite!
