two tabs of mescaline was my intro. blew my fucking mind freshman year in HS. don't really go back to silence at all.
When I was 15 my spleen ruptured and I was in the hospital for a month, I would listen to the title track over and over. Really felt like the matador of the Children’s Ward Foreal
I do actually love the album still, Piano miiiiight be my fav but When One Eight and Motel of the White Locust, and of course Pretty Lush and Siberian Kiss are all up there as well. Lyrics are a BIG BIG oof but I'm at a point where I can appreciate that they're where they are, stuck in the year 2000.
Yeah, I’m going to have to hold my hands up and admit I didn’t know they had a video for this one either.
Revisiting Material Control after realizing it's been almost exactly 10 years since new white extremity's single release and I forgot how much that album rips. The noise rock influence makes it stand out in their discography and they sound even sinister at times. So curious to see where they go from here.
Oh my god I can’t believe it’s been ten years since that single was dropped. That means this March will be a decade since the first time I saw them live. God damn
Didn't realize there had been this much content from Justin in the past year. There are some playthroughs and interviews to promote his signature Schecter guitar and bass. If a left-handed version was a thing, I'd love to try the guitar. That interview is also a good one as it not only goes through the band's history but also into Justin's evolution in his playing style and his influences. Won't replace new music or anything, but I'm glad to see them active like this.
Oh damn, I’m gonna have to watch those later. The idea of a signature guitar from him has me looking hard at my bank account.
