The shipping date is interesting since these are leftovers from the original pressing. I'm not sure if the jacket is new for this pressing, maybe a delay there?

So the copies coming from Revolver have a brown gatefold jacket but the copies coming from GJ have a black jacket? Is that right?

 

I’m inclined to believe the Pitchfork article is just wrong rather than the idea that they pressed 5-10X the amount of the original pressing and then just held onto them for ten fuckin years

In the press release it says

They've been sitting on implies it's not a new pressing.

Maybe back when the first 120 copies went out they had to print more to meet printing minimums at the plant but decided to just put the remainder in storage? One of the more bizarre things I've seen a band do.

 

Well like it's been stated throughout all of this.....this is Glassjaw we're talking about so anything is possible!

 

And if they have been sitting on them for ten years, why aren’t they going to ship for another 6 weeks?
