Just convinced someone to go through them for the first time, I told them Worship and Tribute was the best place to start. Seems pretty fair right?
Not sure why but the opening of Tip Your Bartender just popped into my head. Now I'm halfway through W&T and seriously, top ten all time? Has to be.
W&T is probably their best full length but man MC is right there for me. Super underrated album that has aged very well in my eyes, nothing else out there really sounds like it. And that's not even to mention Coloring Book, which is their best release period imo
also seeing W&T played live in full was def a highlight of my life and I'm glad I got to see it happen before live music stopped
I love all their stuff. But W&T just hit me at the right time. One of those albums that the ups and downs are such a perfect flow.
Material Control hasn't grown on me as much as I hoped. There are some great songs on it but I don't think it's a great album.
Absolutely love all their stuff still even EYEWTKAS, obviously lyrics are beyond fucked but the gargantuan energy is there
Seeing them in 2017 after loving them since I was like 12 was one of the best shows Ive ever experienced Also vein opened
Still not able to process Our Color Green and Coloring Book turning 10. That entire era was so fun to witness.
I don't even remember when I saw them the first time... it was at a small club in STL. I think Sparta played with them? It was nuts as hell though. Google helped me. March 2003. The Gillette Cavalcade of Sports Mu Empire Pretty Lush Ape Dos Mil Tip Your Bartender Radio Cambodia Must've Run All Day Siberian Kiss Two Tabs of Mescaline Convectuoso
I was pretty lukewarm on MC when it first came out, but it has grown on me so much. I'd still put W&T and CB a step above it, but it slots right behind those.
