Yeah i'm excited. Never saw Vein any of the times I attended TIHC, and I know I never caught a tour they're on so it'll be a good one.

I'm totally lying I guess. My friend just told me we saw them a year and a half ago with Axis. I cannot for the life of me recall being there but it's before Vein was on my radar. I am getting old I think.

Fuck they’re playing at an awesome venue like 20 Miles from my house, but I already went to Thrice this past weekend. Plus got Say Anything next month. Hmmmmm

Is there anywhere to get the Coloring Book EP? I got the disc when I saw their headlining tour and they played the entire EP as an encore but lost it years ago.

 

Vein was eh but Glassjaw blew me away. They played a good amount of old songs and this was the smallest crowd I've ever seen at one of their shows. It was great. Between this and Brand New I'm content with my live shows this year.

Except Dillinger's final set in December of course.

Getting the sense based on a couple of recent things online that new stuff might be coming out very soon.

Trying not to get my hopes up but:

1) A guy apparently got chatting to Beck after a show the other day, and Beck himself brought up the album and played him a new song from his phone, a song that supposedly hasn't been played live before. Even gave the guy the choice of a heavy song or a not as heavy song.

2) A different guy was meant to be interviewing Daryl this week and had his interview cancelled because "they aren't doing press till December."
