I don't know how much of this is true/if anyone cares, but we stayed with a LI band on tour last year whose drummer claimed to intern at the studio this was recorded at. He said what he heard from it was fucking great.
To all those earlier in the thread saying their age was in single digits when W&T came out... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU. I was 18.
What's the deal with Daryl and record companies? So, from what I understand, this was finished last year and has been held up by the record company. Didn't the same thing happen with Swan Damage?
Probably close to that haha. It's gone now, but I'm pretty sure he had an issue with the record company and they never released it.
If that woman messaged me I would have probably said "I'm all set on merch, just get them to put fucking Coloring Book on Spotify, thanks" I mean, NWE was released December 1 (hah!) 2015, and I vaguely remember people saying Billy stated he recorded his drums like a year before that. Then in the late 2016 podcast I posted earlier, Daryl said the album was done and ready to be released.
Hey, me too! TTN is cool, I'd rather listen to the self titled, and every Circa record aside from Violent Waves is better than any Saosin release.
I couldn't/didn't go to the shows where Glassjaw released Coloring Book on cd for the first time, but I was so hyped on it I bought a legit one immediately off eBay for I think $47.
