Just watched this a second time. I rescind my previous critique about the ending, I really liked it more this time. Such a fun film to watch with others when you know where it's going and they don't.

Totally agree. It was super funny to watch my Dad be trying to guess another twist in the last five minutes and my Mom had it pegged before the first murder.

Discussion about the spelling of Whack vs Wack. Wacky Racers was an example of the latter

Hamill is set up as the villain, but turns out to be a red herring. Would love to see Stewart playing a villainous role.

I’ve started to appreciate this more as I’ve had time to sit with it. I’ll need to rewatch it at some point.

The Wired interview is great, btw, definitely check it out because there's a lot in there beyond he's started on #3.

Finally watching this, and I was not emotionally prepared for the cameos a few minutes in.

I also didn’t expect it to just the The Last of Sheila, which makes one of the cameos even more perfect. I hope that movie has already been discussed in this thread and that everyone is seeking it out now, because it’s amazing.

absolutely loved Janelle Monae just getting shitfaced on kombucha and being a really great spy/investigator

I enjoyed that Edward Norton literally told everyone + the audience to watch the spinning Birdie in the bright dress while he did his thing.

This was great but I don’t have a big desire to rewatch it like I did with Knives Out.

Now I’m just imagining there being a film in another franchise that, without any marketing giving it away, becomes a surprise Benoit Blanc mystery.

Make it part of James Gunn's vision for DC or a Marvel movie or Transformers or something. Get real weird with it
