Same exact bottom placement for me (The Gray Man & Bullet Train only 2 movies I hated even more)

Found it absurdly painful. I walked out with 10 min left. Maybe I was in a bad mood that day but Idk David Leitch is 0 for 4 post-John Wick for me

I put Blonde and The Bob’s Burgers movie below it LOL

Yea! I just watched it yesterday and I had a fun time. At the 90 minute mark there was a moment where I thought it should be over, but then it honestly ended strong for me. A good time!

I had no idea it was a musical. It’s my least favorite theater experience of the entire year haha

I can’t imagine a movie being worse than “The Bubble”. I liked “Halloween Ends” more and I thought that was almost total shit.

Blonde is worse. It’s the most vile film I’ve ever seen. 0/10. The Bubble had a brief cameo from Daisy Ridley.

The Bubble is mostly frustrating. It's like, Apatow seemed like he was back on track to be a good filmmaker again with King of Staten Island and then he goes and does career worst work thinking his twitter feed in 2020 was a good source of comedy

The Bubble would have been better if it was just 2 hours of a PowerPoint that had just one slide.

I am of course talking about his “he could have killed him” tweet.

the bubble was yet another instance of a competent at worst filmmaker going to netflix and making a bottom-tier (if not their actual worst) effort that fails in part to netflix not pushing them in the right direction the way a normal studio would’ve

I really enjoyed this. A slight step down from the first but still super fun nonetheless. I definitely agree with others that the set up took a little too long and some of the early jokes didn’t land as well.

I don’t remember any of the cast now. But I remember thinking I liked the cast. I only remember Daisy Ridley.

Am I missing something? I just looked up the cast and I don't see Daisy Ridley listed.

She has a cameo. She is in two brief scenes.

She probably convinced someone at IMDB to scrub it off of there. And rightfully so.

Man I forgot about the Bubble. I'm a huge Apatow fan/apologist that usually likes almost everything he's involved in but holy shit was that movie garbage. I remember thinking the story was literally incomprehensible by the end. Like there's some big action scene where the cast of the fictional movie has to literally like fight for their lives to escape the set or something?

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

i just threw the first movie on over dinner and man "I WILL NOT EAT ONE IOTA OF SHIT" is funnier than anything in this whole movie. caught me off guard

Another great Blanc movie. Not a perfect one as it loses a tiny bit of steam after the midpoint, but I'm happy with "great"

The second half is the better half though

Idk how anyone can say the second half is better when a huge portion of the second half is just a retread of the first, and just serves as a “reveal” of what was very intentionally (imo lazily) obscured from us before.
