Nice! So David Dunn’s son will be in this? I wonder how they’ll address his wife (ex-wife?) given that Robin Wright is not returning to her role.

So it sounds like most of the movie takes place in the sanitarium which seems...misguided? It’s being advertised as a superhero movie but the movie is mostly them getting therapy? Seems very inert

 

Ugh.

 

Bummer. Was really hoping this would be great and everyone would love it.

give it a decade and it'll be as loved as Unbreakable

 

Still gonna see it. Was hoping this would end up being a top 5 M. Night film, but now I’m doubting that.

 

Eh I wasn’t gonna see it in theaters anyways. I’m sure this will be a fun night at home movie

 

I was hoping this would be my first film at the cinema this year, probably won't be now considering those reviews.

 

Kinda had a feeling it would go this way.

 

The annoying thing is Split set up a perfect sequel of David Dunn hunting down the Beast out in the city and instead they turned it into what sounds like a long boring therapy session.

 

The two reviewers here both really liked the movie, but also predicted based on their screening that critical response would be mixed. They said it's a lot more like Unbreakable than Split.

As someone who didn't see Split and really doesn't have any desire to, but remember loving Unbreakable (gonna have to rewatch it sometime next week)... I'm actually looking forward to seeing this more than I was, lol.

 

So, you're gonna watch Glass without having seen Split?
