Didn’t really care a ton for their debut but this is good so far. Motions is awesome - sort of reminds me a little of old Strokes.

First listen was very much overwhelming , but every listen since has gotten better and better. There is so much here.

Guitar Song and Puppy being the early standouts.

Loved that Stereogum feature. Very intrigued by the prog rock comparison and D Plan vibe on one of the songs they alluded to.

Maybe im reaching but I hear radiohead in songs like Guitar Song and The Killer

 

The stereogum review legit called out Radiohead so you’re not reaching at all

 

'Radiohead gone full Guitar Center' is a pretty apt descriptor I now wish I'd written lol

after my second full listen my first thought was this sounds to me like the kind of music rob crow might be making right now if he'd been born in the late 90s or so

 

This is nuts

 

The last 45 seconds of puppy makes me grin like an absolute fucking dork every single time I listen

 

The production on this record is exceptional

 

Listened to a little bit on my drive in to work, can’t wait to sit down and give this my attention later.
