I'm pretty surprised that they seemed to be playing all the parts live and aren't using backing tracks. Don't see a lot of bands using synths/electronics not relying on backing tracks. Super excited for next wednesday!
gonna try really hard not to see the setlist for this tour. I know they'll play life itself, youth, pork soda, and season 2 ep 3 because they've been playing those for a while. But I REALLY want to hear Cane Shuga, Other Side Of Paradise, and I have a feeling Take A Slice would be insane live.
I just listened to ZABA for the first time. I couldn't give it my full attention because I was working on some homework at the same time, but I thought it was good, not great. It has a sound that it likes to revolve around, and while it works, the diversity of HTBAB is far superior imo. HTBAB hit me over the heard and hooked me from the first listen, whereas this one wasn't nearly so immediate. But I did enjoy it, and I think it would make a superb album to drive around to at night. I'll be revisiting it again soon.
The rollout of this album has been so fun/creative. The life itself microsite was fun and I'm excited to look at this game

I love them. Glass Animals is one of that bands that requires you to listen 3 or 4 times every song. But they are fantastic.
