I think the show just did a horrible doing sound for them, the mix is pretty horrible. listen to this version:

 

I'm pretty surprised that they seemed to be playing all the parts live and aren't using backing tracks. Don't see a lot of bands using synths/electronics not relying on backing tracks.

gonna try really hard not to see the setlist for this tour. I know they'll play life itself, youth, pork soda, and season 2 ep 3 because they've been playing those for a while. But I REALLY want to hear Cane Shuga, Other Side Of Paradise, and I have a feeling Take A Slice would be insane live.

 

I just listened to ZABA for the first time. I couldn't give it my full attention because I was working on some homework at the same time, but I thought it was good, not great. It has a sound that it likes to revolve around, and while it works, the diversity of HTBAB is far superior imo. HTBAB hit me over the heard and hooked me from the first listen, whereas this one wasn't nearly so immediate. But I did enjoy it, and I think it would make a superb album to drive around to at night. I'll be revisiting it again soon.

This is still going to be in my top 10 for the year.

 

The rollout of this album has been so fun/creative. The life itself microsite was fun and I'm excited to look at this game

 

I gotta eat my words a little bit here, but this album is pretty awesome. WAAAYYYY better than the last album

 

Still love this album and I'm really surprised by how much Youth grew on me

 

Fugggg. They're gonna be in L.A. next week but no more GA tickets are left and I dunno if I wanna do dat. Wish I knew about the show earlier, I wanna see them live so badly

 

I love them. Glass Animals is one of that bands that requires you to listen 3 or 4 times every song. But they are fantastic.
