This film is going to crush the box office

 

not with Wicked also opening that weekend

 

Even with little overlap between the audiences, they'll both crush, with Wicked probably crushing harder

 

I hope I'm wrong, I just don't think we'll have 2 movies making a ton kind of weekend. I think just less people are going to the movies right now

Saw Anora on Friday in a pretty big room and it was me +3 other people total

saw Heretic on Saturday in Dolby and it was probably less than 30 people total

 

Ticket now secured for IMAX Saturday afternoon, middle row with middle seat - very stoked

 

Give me 2 hours of swords and sandals swashbuckling

 

Maybe two indie movies aren’t the best choice to compare to two blockbusters coming out.

Yeah and my showing of Conclave was almost sold out last weekend!

Ohhh that's not a good look at all for Gladiator 2, I remember reading when May was originally cast that she was basically 4th on the call sheet and part of the main cast but we know why the reason why most of her scenes got cut out.. fuck Ridley Scott

It's very knowing that and I noticed that she wasn't even invited to the premiere of asked to do any press for this film

 

Wait why fuck Ridley Scott? I have no idea why her scenes were cut so I’m totally lost.

 

She's Palestinian. And of course very against the war in Gaza and has spoken out against it.

I just hope that Disney doesn't do anything to her when they get to Moon Knight Season 2.

And I'm definitely not seeing this film.

No, this is true. Right now it's just a lot of speculation, and I'm sure some corporate answer will come that it was to keep the runtime down and for the film's pacing and etc.

But I can see why people would assume this, since we live in the current timeline.

I knew she was Egyptian, but not that she was Palestinian too. I actually forgot she was even cast in this, and I guess I know why now. What a pathetic world we live in. She was great in Moon Knight.
