Well I didn’t love this but it’s sure to be a big success for her so that’s cool. The run of Rue through the end had all of my favorites, “.” is a stunner

 

the trajectory for girl in red is about to hit full send. she's always been interesting because of the literal millions of views on youtube but not hitting much else, especially in the states.

what a stellar debut and rightfully getting well deserved praise.

 

When I saw her in Chicago in 2019 she sold out a 500 capacity venue which I thought was small for her at the time. The show didn’t sell out for a while, which surprised me, but everyone there was REALLY into it, lots of energy. I think 2020 was going to be her blow up year but of course that couldn’t happen.

 

Finally listening to this, I'm two songs in and it rules.

absolutely love that shows are getting announced but I can barely get through the week, let alone think about a show 10 months from now! lol

Incidentally, I finally got round to this yesterday. There’s so much to like - I love Serotonin. What follows does begin to sound the same (maybe that will end after repeated listens) but the last few tracks offered a different sound that I appreciated too. The album feels quite short but it’s a great injection of energy. I listened to it about three times through and it does leave you bouncing around. Good recommendation everyone.

 

Not quite sure what it is but I come back to this album very, very frequently. I'm surprised it doesn't get more love here.

 

Yes the more I listen the more addictive I’m finding it.

 

The Spotify livestream was so good, really made me love these songs more than I originally did.

Serotonin is by far my most played song of 2021. Album is good, not amazing but i listen to that song like every day

 

Serotonin is honestly one of the best songs of 2021. Agree that the rest of the album is good but not amazing, although a lot of the songs have grown on me over the months.
