about to grab some food and sit down for the first episode, stoked that i've only heard good so far

 

I'M NOT OKAY WITH THE ENDING.

 

Only 2 episodes in and I've cried so much...

 

It's been killing me that I haven't been able to put aside an hour and a half to watch at least en episode yet.

 

Winter was amazing. I'm actually sad I have to stop watching to turn on the football game

 

First episode was great

 

I really enjoyed the first episode. I was wondering why i wasn't super stoked, and then i realized that it mostly felt like a seamless transition -- it was really like it'd never ended and i had just missed an episode. THEN I got super stoked, haha
also Lane's band makes Weezer sound like they made excellent power pop masterpieces post Pink, mm. Lukewarm on her band.

 

I didn't realise how much I'd missed Paris until she turned up

 

just five minutes in and oh my god this is perfect already

 

two episodes in, i've got a tiny bit of beef, i'm gonna wait a while before bringing up anything specific, like a week or smth, and even then i'll use spoiler tags for a while after that.

 

but also just know the episodes are great it's more a "oh god x character why did you make y choice thing, why" thing, don't wanna deflate anyone's expectations lol

 

3 episodes in and I don't how how I feel about this. I just know episode 3 has some of the worst filler ever.

 

I honestly am so confused about that Wookie thing...it seemed so beyond unbelievable as her falling asleep on the sidewalk while giving the interview.

Also...was that Logan scene a dream? So many things that happened in that adventure that it could not have been real.

 

I honestly thought she was hallucinating the adventure. wth is that?

 

I really liked the first episode, felt good to be back and there were some pretty interesting twists/plot developments. Second episode, not quite sure what to think but I definitely had some issues with it. I'll have to wait and see how things play out over the second half of the season.

One thing I do know, however, is that Liza Weil is the show's MVP so far.

Sneak peak at the writer's room for the revival:

Sensible People: "Okay, so we have 25 minutes to fill in Summer. Should we give Lane a decent storyline?"

Palladinos: "Hm, that could work...but what if instead we show Taylor's full 15 minute musical and then spend another ten minutes talking about it?"

 

one episode left. tomorrow though

 

The Secret Bar was one of my favorite parts of the entire thing. I also love the aspect where you can continue to hear people in the town offscreen. It makes it feels like you're on a theater stage.

 

I'm gonna fucking lose it

 

The last 40 minutes of Fall were perfect

That ending was....something...

 

I liked that actors from Bunheads were in this. Also people from Parenthood that Lauren Graham is still close with.

Also don't get the outrage over the end, I thought everything was amazing.

 

It's 1 am, I'm kind of a mess from some of the last episode but:

Episode 4: I was pretty positive Rory saying "I'm pregnant" was going to be among the fabled final four words from the beginning (and pretty much confirmed for me during her conversation with Christopher) and it's certainly...an interesting way to end the show.


Oh, and Sookie's one scene was just perfect. Should they make more, please please please let them do whatever they have to to work around Melissa McCarthy to have her as a more regular presence.

Overall I was pleased, I think I'll have some more to say after thinking about it/sleeping on it.
