I really don't get how someone can dislike the trailers and not think the movie will be that great without getting lumped into this misogynist pool. Never saw any of the originals so I could care less about a reboot/remake. It just doesn't look good based on what I've seen.
So it doesn't look good based on the trailers, and you haven't seen the original...multiply that feeling by 1000 and you'll begin to understand what it looks like to those who have seen the original. Fucking horseshit, so much so that the original cast came out recently on Jimmy Kimmell and basically had to tell us, the audience, to not worry and that these women are "actually funny". I've never seen that happen before.
Seen the originals. They're not that great. This looks good and has a great team behind it. Why come back from a ban and immediately be the same ass that got you banned the first time?
I said I don't think the movie looks good in the least bit, and the original cast had to come out and defend the new cast...what's wrong with that? I'm a huge fan of the first two movies and the cartoon.
Come on man, I'm not doing anything wrong by saying I don't like something. So I used a few swear words in that post and said "women" instead of "cast"...there is a certain threshold of political correctness on this site and I don't think I crossed it just now.
I liked the cartoons growing up. The original movie remains a classic for me. I'm looking forward to seeing this and don't see why people can't be open minded. This is the world we live in now. Hollywood recycles ideas. Get over it!
The original movie is pretty good but feeling slighted or upset about the new one ruining its legacy or not living up to it or whatever is dumb. Also, the trailers don't look that bad. The first one was pretty mediocre but the ones since then have looked, at worst, like a middle-of-the-road comedy.
I haven't listened, but I can't see "Ghostbusters theme" by Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott being anything good
I don't really like it, but to be fair that's probably not too out of the ordinary for "popular artist records theme song for blockbuster film" type stuff.
I can't take anyone seriously who thinks this movie looks good based on the trailers. Either you're too afraid to be lumped in with the cries of misogynist or you have shite opinions to begin with.
