I haven't seen any Ghostbusters movie so I don't really care about this franchise. If the movie ends up being bad though, will everyone defending it now actually admit it was a bad movie (and vice versa)?
If it's bad (and the director and cast make it seem solid), the people "defending" it are mature enough to say "it was a bad movie but not for the reasons people pointed to before release". I would not say the same for the people trashing it if it ends up being great
