hey now, the difference between Emmerich and whatever this is is that Emmerich movies are fun

 

not really excited for this one at all. Afterlife just didnt do it for me.

 

I keep thinking about revisiting Afterlife and then I remember the last 20 minutes or so and I can't bring myself to do it

 

I saw afterlife on my birthday and was so pissed.

 

I saw Afterlife with my family and we had a good time.

 

Fwiw I saw Dial of Destiny with my dad and had a good time so I get that

 

Afterlife was fine. I’m glad this one is seemingly going to be a little more original and not have ghost Egon. So I shall see it.

I liked afterlife but I also have no real attachment to the original ghostbusters movies. I’ve seen em. I like em. They were just never at the top for me

Yea I think Sony is prepping for dismal returns on this one. I dont think the excitement level is even a quarter the size of After Life.

 

the way afterlife turned out might have something to do with that

 

Starting to hate this trailer as much as everyone hates Bob Marley and argyle

Gonna keep my expectations at rock bottom so I might actually have fun with this when I inevitably see it in theaters

 

I think it looks fine and fun. Venkman being full venkman is always cool.

 

This second trailer honestly has me hyped more and expecting a little less of a dud. My only hope is I enjoy it more than Afterlife. I saw it opening night and still can't muster up the courage to watch it again. Was so let down. Fun Fact: I remember seeing Ghostbusters 2 opening night.
