Yea that’s the term - I love it

 

Man, egregious product placement aside, I was enjoying this just fine up until the very end. Not only did they just shove in the original actors out of nowhere, they had the gall to both create a CGI Ramis AND use it to directly rip off the end of Harry Potter. Big whiff on the ending there.

McKenna Grace was great though. And Muncher.

 

I liked the ending.

 

Seemed like a love letter to Ramis. That’s what I took from it.

 

We just watched this, I enjoyed it a lot. Wish they used the older characters better, and thought Finn Wolfhard’s character was…basically a waste of space. The girl did a great job but tbh probably would have preferred adult characters.

i thought Remis showing up was a great touch and they had to do it. Knowing he wanted this movie for so long, he had to be in it.

Man, this comes as a shock. I was just watching some bonus stuff from the Afterlife blu ray and it looked like he was doing pretty well.

Just saw this and thought it was pretty good. I was kind of surprised there were no references/easter eggs to GB2..at least none that I noticed.

 

They are working on a sequel - code name firehouse. Let’s get it!

 

Hopefully during Xmas!

 

i personally do not need this movie as I didnt think Afterlife was great, but will still see opening night and happy its back in NYC and firehouse

 

Really interested to see what kind of villains they go with. I hope they don’t revisit Vigo. If they wanna go into Ghostbusters lore instead of introducing new bad guys, I’d like it if they pulled some crazy monster from the animated series.
