    Die rad.

It was pretty lame they just redid the keymaster and gatekeeper. And then they blew right past it.

  2. Found the marshmallows and cameos way more distracting than revisiting the original plot points haha.

I enjoyed the marshmallows and happy for all the cameos, but I think the Ghostbusters themselves could have been placed in the film at better parts. The Ray phone call and backstory of the last 32 years was perfection. All I really needed

The marshmallow scene should have just been saved for a Wal Mart commercial.

  5. Honestly, I thought the WalMart scene was egregious until I saw the finale, well-intentioned as it may be

One of the downsides to seeing a movie early is kids running around in the theater ughhh

I never know what is good and not good. Today is harolds birthday - I might go again.

I think if it continues to do well through Thanksgiving and weekend it has strong potential for 100 million in next 2 weeks. Might be enough for a sequel, just not sure I want one.

It made less than the first remake five years ago. Corona is obviously a factor but calling this a success is quite the spin.

Summer 2016 vs post pandemic movie going is not a fair fight.

The nuts went to hate watch that film too - which certainly inflated sales lol

I would definitely call this a success. It was estimated to barely make 30 million. First movie I've gone to since February 2020.

Anyways, I’m looking forward to seeing this. The mixed reviews have made me even more curious.

To say this is egregiously bad or not worth a watch is a big fucking reach. They def make some choices, that could be considered missteps, but I think it definitely lands on its feet at the end. Grace is worth seeing it alone.

I liked this. Definitely would have been better if it didn't lean on the first film as hard as it did. And yeah, Grace was the standout for me too. She kills it in everything I've seen her in.

People bitch about podcast but I actually think he is fine as well. The kids, Carrie sans gold dress and Paul (although underutilized) are all solid. Wish we got more woodbine.

Just got home from seeing it. I thought it was fine. Overall, the movie worked for me.

agree with everyone that Grace was fantastic in this.

I like how the OG cast was used in this. Glad they didn’t have a ton of screen time. Just a taste and the rest is given to our new crew.

Podcast wasn’t bad at all. Maybe you can say it’s a bad name but I can believe a little kid in a small town calling himself that

I had fun watching this. it is what it is.

I kinda wish the OG guys had been introduced slightly better. it felt a little clunky and too much dialogue. should have had them blast Gozer off screen as she was reaching for Carrie and Grace and "you miss us?" and straight into more photon blasting.
Grace and the kid who played Podcast were great. I just don't get Wolfhard. He is literally nothing

Is Rudd really not in this much like I've been hearing? He seems like such a big focal point of the marketing
