Geotic - Abysma: Album Premiere on Hype Machine

 

I'm sooooo happy listening to this for the first time

 

Never heard of this project but love Baths. I gotta check out this album-- enjoyed the songs a decent amount. Reminded me of the vibe he went for in Pop Music/False B-Sides

 

It's generally his beatless project (which is really good)but this one is 4/4 the whole way through, similar textures but all very and pretty and danceable. If you enjoy Baths, you'll definitely like this

 

I am so in love with this now.

 

Kinda shocked that more people didn't listen to this

 

I listened through the discography and this one is clearly his best Geotic project, though it's all very samey throughout. Definitely still pleasant, just doesn't have a lot of replay value imo
