Ugh, not my style at all sadly. I’m waiting for the idols.

 

She was my most wanted since the prelaunch leaks.

And then I saw she's a defender......

And considering I really don't have ANY of her faction units I really don't know if I can slot her onto any teams. Whereas I'm not a fan at all of Qingy but realize she's extremely meta (especially with the last minute buff to her kit) for Zhu Yuan and as a stun unit in general sooo I'm conflicted lol. I'll have to see how the beta shapes up to get a better idea of whether or not I'll go for Caesar tbh. I don't have Koleda, my DPS are Zhu and Ellen soooooo.

 

I'll be honest with you, I don't get that deep with it, I try to largely ignore the meta and viability and just go for teams I find fun. Like I'm running a C2 Anby in a team with Ellen and C6 Koleda just because I like her so much. To be fair I am still doing very low level content (I am IK level 40) but I just don't feel like grinding. I am going to wait until they add more content that I think is fun and then just pull for characters that appeal to me rather than trying to build towards anything.

THAT SAID I'd love a Qingy but ACAB and she's such a direct replacement for Anby that'd just feel bad.

 

I usually go for whatever I find to be what's fun in the hoyo games but in this more than any I feel, team composition is super important. Like I wish there weren't faction buffs or similar weapon type buffs, I tried some endgame stuff with and without synergy and the differences were pretty obvious. Genshin is probably the most lenient lol, in that game it's elemental based and EVERYTHING reacts with EVERYTHING so it's way easier to pick off of either kit or looks and you don't feel weak.

Also genshin and star rail's 4 member parties vs zzz 3 members.....feels more flexible with more people.

Ok Burnice for sure looks like a character from genshin just with different clothes but I will cut you for speaking blasphemy against the KING.

so 1.1 will have Qingyi and Jane Doe, 1.2 will have Burnice and Caesar, so I'm guessing 1.3? so in 12 weeks.

Leakers aren't always 100% correct, especially in this game so far but they do tend to have more insider knowledge

I have 30 pulls until I get an S tier, I pray to god it’s either qingyi or hell i’ll even take nekomata since I don’t have her yet and if then, I can grind to get qingyi eventually haha

if I get an S character I already have im gonna b real bummed out

 

I'm watching the leaks if Caesar and Burnice and oh yeah my wallet is gonna be HURTING if I lose any 50/50s...

 

you should be legally obligated to get the S character no matter what especially with that limited banner boost, but this is a gacha, so what do i know haha

 

Oh I 1000000% agree with you lol but that's never happening. On one hand, hoyo is making BANK on the current model so they have absolutely no reason to change but in the other.....we have them to thank lol for the current model. I'm uke before genshin, there wasn't 50/50 really anywhere, it was just straight up pity. And usually 300, with some newer making it 200. So in essence, 90/180 IS somewhat better than how it used to be but it still frickin sucks to lose the 50/50 especially on a unit you don't want.

Hell, I remember when gacha DIDN'T have pity.......those were someeee times.

 

it’d be crazy to ever see them make a 60-70 AAA game and they could for sure pull it off, but that ain’t happening anytime soon LOL
