Hmm. Will look into. Doing a refresh of the page doesn't fix it? What about tapping the timestamp on the post that includes the Instagram embed, does that do anything?
Huh. Page refresh seems to have done it. I went back to that page just now and it displays fine. Strange.
It does it for me on my mobile (Huawei) and sometimes on my computer as well. I also noticed that it does it when I'm posting on other boards, so I'm wondering if the problem comes from Instagram itself.
Is it possible to request a username change? I don't want one right now or anything but I might in the future.
Ok, I think I got this figured out. It may not fix it 100% of the time (from what I think was going on: sometimes Instagram delays the embed loading if they think your internet speed is slow, which causes some issues when I calculate the size of the embed) but I think some of the tweaks I made should fix this most of the time. If it ever doesn't work, a refresh has fixed it for me every time. But, in my testing, I got it to display the correct size about 98-99% of the time. The files will need to refresh on the server out of cache ... may take 5-15 minutes ... but then hopefully this will be mostly fixed for Instagram embeds. Fingers crossed.
Tweaked Instagram's code just a little more. If it fails to load, for any reason, it should fix itself within 2 seconds now.
For some reason only with this website lll try and go back to my already in use window, and the page is gone. I can’t hit refresh on my phone. I need to close out the window, and make a new page. It’s fine with my YouTube page always in use. Don’t know if anyone else is having this issue. It’s also only recent
Usually means the phone drops us out of memory. If you have a lot of tabs open or tabs using a lot of memory that can happen.
Hey love the dark theme and I'm probably going to be using it for good. Just wondering if I'm in the minority with this, but I feel like if I'm hanging out at night with my phone brightness all the way down, it's hard tell which notifications are new because of the background colors. Any possibility of getting a bit more contrast? I might just have bad eyes :P, not a huge deal
Yep that's it! Not really a problem in normal lighting, but it's not immediately clear to me if I'm in the dark with low brightness.
Was there just some huge bot invasion and then the posts got deleted? Tons of old threads I am subscribed to just got pushed to my 'followed threads' page saying they had new posts but the newest post on them is weeks ago.
Weird. I had probably like 30-40 threads pop up with supposedly new unread posts that didn't actually have anything new. Maybe just some odd glitch.
