Bill Gates and Rashida Jones recently came out with their own podcast called “Bill Gates and Rashida Jones Ask Big Questions”, and the most recent episode (their 2nd) was on inequality, and Rashida got to the point near the first part of the episode where she asked Bill “How come we don’t have free education and universal healthcare, being that we’re the richest country in the world?” And Bill responded “Well we do have free education, through high school” and Rashida was like “But we don’t have free college” and Bill was like “Why should college be free? Those are the people who make lots of money”, and at that point I stopped the podcast and immediately deleted it, as if Bill can’t understand the benefits of free college and why it’s a fucked up system right now, then I don’t need to hear from him on inequality, hahaha
