I enjoy eating out and would probably feel comfortable even before we had a vaccine if we could be where S. Korea/China/Italy/any semi-intelligent country and get our case numbers to under 100 daily nationwide. I feel like, at that point, things would be somewhat safe if precautions were taken, but I think we're far more likely to get a vaccine before we reach that point in the US.

My coworker, who I share an office with, her daughter and son in law tested positive today. They all had dinner together last week and so my coworker and her husband got tested today. She said she was told her results should be back in 5 days but it could be as much as 10?? I thought we were getting better turnaround time than that now?

Anyways, out of caution/paranoia I am getting tested on Sunday. It's so extremely frustrating that my family has taken this about as serious as possible and I was forced back in to the office after working from home since March

 

Is that verified? Cause I'd believe that.

Texas finally has a statewide mask mandate

 

I got tested on Monday afternoon and got the results emailed to me tuesday night. But that's because our county executive connected the state with a manufacturer of mouth swab test and our state bought 200,000 of them. Our county has been providing free drive thru testing almost every day at various locations in the county.

 

Yeah i'm not sure where my coworker went, I'm going to Walgreens and it's the nose swab test
