I’m from Vienna and I’ve never heard of Vienna Fingers

People in my area growing up called Vienna Fingers "Lady Fingers". No idea why.

Or at least my extended family lmao. I've never heard someone call them by the real name

 

Makes sense. I get grumpy af when I'm hungry

 

We have free lunches for all students this year, I don’t think there’s been a noticeable difference in fight/suspension amounts

Statistically speaking, I get in way less fist-fights on days when someone gives me a sweet free lunch.

 

Haha tbf I think its probably just because we already provided free breakfast and lunch to our low income students as it is, so we prob had already tapped out most of the potential problem solving done by anti-hunger measures. I forgot how/why we got the funding to provide it for all students

 

Something I just thought about: If Bernie were to get the nomination and win the presidency, wouldn't picking Warren as VP get her seat replaced by a republican? Why would we want that instead of picking a VP from a state that would be replaced by a dem?

 

If Bernie gets the nomination I don’t know if he’d pick Warren. I’d like to think that we’ll never see an all-white Dem ticket ever again but I of course could be wrong to think that.

Prior to her making it clear she’d like to run herself, I imagined a Bernie/Stacey Abrams ticket would be pretty solid. Maybe it could still happen if she doesn’t run or if she doesn’t get the nomination herself.

 

Why a Republican? Both from Mass are Ds.

That's true, but even if it is only for 2 years, dems are going need every seat they possibly can have. Warren would be a great VP (or a fantastic pick for Treasury secretary), but I think losing that seat for 2 years will have to be considered

 

I haven't seen anyone clamoring for a bernie/warren ticket tbh
