    The few times I have had to use it, COBRA is so ASTRONOMICALLY expensive that I had a physical reaction to reading this.

    I had to use COBRA for 4 months when I was transitioning into teaching and it just sucked away everything I had saved. Another reason M4A is the only moral way forward

    I unfortunately haven’t heard much about it this week. I have all freshmen this year so they might be more out of the loop than the upperclassmen. The last couple weeks our “World Justice Club” has been advertising on the announcements for their meeting where they said they were going to discuss “the upcoming climate strikes in the 20th and 27th” but as far as my freshman students go, I haven’t heard any buzz about it.

    I’m hoping it happens though.

    Medicare For All just seems so obvious, to so quickly improve the lives of everyone in this country except for the uber rich and the insurance companies who have been killing people for profit. That alone is a winning platform and I can't take a candidate seriously if they even have a chance of watering down that proposal.
