I've always been kinda bored by war movies. I'll watch them occasionally but I've never been able to identify with a character in one, they're usually too long and loud

 

Jarhead is a good war movie

Trying to convince my girlfriend to watch this movie took months. Hahaha. "No no no, it's good I promise!"

 

Since this movie came out when we were in middle school, I watched it primarily for the hardcore nudity

 

I would add Platoon to that list as well.

Jack in the Box is a terrifying institution

 

Starship Troopers is definitely anti-war but also definitely falls into the category that that Celtics fan described of being culturally misunderstood.

I remember when they had that ad about the JITB mascot taking viagra or something and then his human wife made sex eyes at him and it made me so angry I joined youtube just to comment on how unnecessary it was. That’s the extent of my knowledge of the company but I think it’s enough, lol.

I made a pretty hefty profit buying those off campus and selling them to acquaintances in high school

 

I've never been to a Jack in the Box, I don't think we have any around here. Even finding a Sonic is probably an hour and a half drive. DQ is finally starting to become more common though
