I get that, it makes sense. I haven't followed her campaign closely enough but maybe in the future having private events for marginalized groups instead of converting a town hall into a private event. It just has that horrible connotation.

 

Not to get hopes too high, but I would bet good money that this means a guilty verdict on at least some of the counts.

It’s incredibly rare, in my experience, to have a jury agreed on not guilty on all counts but one.

More likely, it’s been a mixed bag.

 

I think it only has a horrible connotation for people outside her district mainly.

hearing that a politician wants to speak to their voters without media present sends a signal to people in her district that it's not a stunt.

the media is mad because she's a big story that produces scary socialist headlines.
