All of us Americans saying "Adults in the UK caring about the British monarchy in 2022 is so weird" should also admit that almost every child in America having to say the pledge of allegiance to our country's flag every morning is also very bizarre. Glass houses.

Also i just realized that even though haven't thought about the Pledge in years that as a 34 year old i can still easily recite every single word from memory. That's indoctrination.

 

I mean everyone saying the monarchy is bad/weird would 100% agree that the pledge is fucked up. That’s not really a gotcha moment.
