Rob Portman Hints That He'll Support Latest GOP Health Care Bill

Figured as such. For some reason Portman is usually listed as a possible no, and I'm not sure why. He always falls in line with Trump and Ryan despite Kasich opposing the bills. He's a waste of time.

 

This latest health bill is just too evil for the GOP not to pass it.

It’ll pass because “it’s the only plan we had and I didn’t see the Democrats offering anything better, hey at least it isn’t socialism, and don’t worry we’ll fix the issues later, it’s a process”

 

Unless Paul flips at the last minute (he was bought off for a chance at his straight replace last time), I don't see this one passing. If Paul flips, I think McCain votes yes and it passes. (Or goes for round two of all his good press and kills it.) If Paul stays no, more moderates will vote no, it'll fail early.

 

On npr earlier Paul sounded like a hard no. But dont trust anything he says.

That's exactly why I didn't post it, live links don't work here.

He got to a little over 10k, just amazing. His throat must've been sore as hell, if it was me I would've had a hard time not playing till I didn't have a voice anymore considering money might stop pouring in for charity at that point. He definitely could've raised more.

I hope more bands/artists do this.

I was watching the My Bloody Valentine remake the other day where the sheriff is a ~loose cannon and my friend was like "um how does he even have a job as sheriff still when he's so quick to escalation" and I was like oh my you sweet summer child this is the whitest thing I've heard all month lol.

 

Remember when the WH called for someone to be fired for a tweet and we forgot it a week later ...

 

Guarantee there are stuff Trump has done that, under any other presidency I'd be outraged by, but instead I've totally forgotten about because of all the other stuff he's done.

It seems like Trump does so many things that are bad that the people who oppose him can't hammer him for it without sounding like another person complaining. We're just saying the latest bad thing he did rather than harping on something like the Republicans did to Clinton during the campaign.
