Most people just don't even want to admit all of this (esp bolded) is even happening so they can't talk about foreign policy and they stumble or they dismiss and deflect. It's telling when people aren't addressing this and that's a huge divide between Libs and Leftists honestly. It's usually because it's not affecting them or they have $$$$ and are comfortable and don't care. They have the privilege of telling people "but statistics this and that" cause it's not their people who are victims of genocide and displacement, and they don't want to understand different dynamics. I just don't feel like you can talk about policies without putting this at the forefront of discussion. And to stress that it doesn't matter much whether they're Dem or Repub.
