My nephew is staying over tonight and I asked him what he wanted to do and he said "movie party!!" So we watched Trolls (which was alright) but tomorrow he said he wants to watch Moana!!! Yaaaaay!! I've been wanting to watch it but haven't had a chance so I am very excited!
people are getting mad at me because they are grabbing organic blackberries that cost $5 and wanting them to be 98 cents like are actual blackberries on sale.
I can't imagine all the people who must yell at you I'm sorry, people really like using coupons but really hate reading/understanding them
I always get stuck behind ppl taking forever to pay with a check, or using coupons that don't work the first time so the cashier has to call for help. My dad is a grocery manager and he'd get so mad at that couponer show when it was big cause it created a wave of people who tried to be couponers and held up all the lines
I always hated how they'd like buy a year's supply of baby food when they didn't have a baby, like I get it a deal's a deal but that's a bit much
i worked as a cashier at Target when i was a teenager and lets face it, old people who pay in exact change are the worst. at target they time you when check someone out and you get a red of green after each transaction and without fail, i got a red every time an old person came into my line. i mean this was nearly 10 years ago and checks were still pretty common but fading out some and switching to strictly cards but they always paid by check too which took them forever to fill out.
I hated how they'd call it a deal, but they just end up being wasteful. I know some would donate what they got and didn't need, but lots of them just hoarded whatever they could just because they had the coupons
We were drunk and my friend paid for beer at the self checkout with quarters and dimes. We were dying it was so funny. They werent busy or waiting on us thank god.
One time my mom and her bf at the time made us drive her to Taco Bell when they were drunk, and my mom tried to do that thing where you like give an extra cent or two to get back an even dollar amount, but she was drunk so she did it wrong and she just created more change and the cashier was like wtf.
Also I'm going to the coast for spring break and it's hard to find playlist songs! I need to make like a road trip to the beach Playlist but it's not summer and it's not california which is most beachy songs lol. I feel like the Oregon Coast has a different beach vibe but most beach songs are meant for like California or Miami or something so I'm struggling!
I need to go to a chiropractor but I'm scared. Prob need a message too bc I can feel the knots in my back. I hate massages.
It wasn't actually a coupon but rather our 72 hour sale ad. It got even worse when some lady straight up got mad when I responded nicely about how we are out of the blackberries. She was like "ugh I can't believe you wasted my time like that" and just walked away. I was standing there super confused.
also apparently a few people had their wallets stolen at my work a week ago. Some dude was just walking around and snatching them up out of purses or carts. They won't give the exact day it happened so I could know if I was there or not.
I wish I'd have known what area I wanted to work in before I graduated college. I say I could've been building experience but my anxiety would've prob prevented that anyway. But still, sucks to have a "late start" compared to ppl who have been volunteering, interning, or working in areas they're interested in since hs or college. But still, would have chosen the same major but probs different courses but I had no clue what I wanted to do
It's kinda crazy that we're all put on such a strong deadline that has to coincide with the most volatile time for our decision making.
I feel like I have an abstract clue lol, enough to try and see what's out there, but I'm not exactly sure either. Still paranoid of choosing the "wrong" thing and moving away for the job, just to end up hating it and then having to scramble for something else or be stuck cause I can't financially leave. I need to chill lol. I feel like coming of age movies trick us into thinking we will figure out our lives on a journey to self discovery, but it never happened!! Yep! Like I eventually figured out what major I wanted, but within my major I had no idea what area to go in. When you then realize what you wanna do (vaguely) like a month before graduation that makes things tough lol! I have gained some experience in the area I like now, but I feel inferior to those with a more rounded experience. I still felt like a kid in college (and still do sometimes) so I felt like I couldn't even make the decision and needed someone else to tell me what to do lol I never had a big passion or calling or anything growing up, so that made it hard.
My bachelors is mostly useless (political science), so here I am ten years later, back in school for a medical technician degree.
