Rant about work: As always I'm working with people who don't know what they're doing. This guy from the agency is so terrible no one knows why he's allowed to keep coming back. One worker earlier today had a poor tone of voice while doing rounds. This person also doesn't communicate well because I see areas that can need much improvement. The other person I mentioned before, I don't know how they've been in this field for years because there are lots of areas for improvement. This person won't finish a task if they are told to go do something. It should be common sense to finish what you're doing first, then go to the next task. I see this person getting overwhelmed pretty easy. Understandable if you're brand new, but not if you've been doing this for like 10 years.
me and my friend were driving home and he loves listening to the rock radio station. We are just talking and Last Resort comes on and we both just start head banging and singing along.
one of those days where I drive home from work and snow falls off people's cars and my windshield gets really dirty and I just cleaned it
There my friend goes again wanting to make plans for something she won't follow through with, making it seem like I'm never free, when she cancels our plans to hangout with her bf that she sees every day for the 7 years they've been together. This has happened many times. The last time we were suppose to go out of town she ignored me calls/texts for hours and said she was running errands all day. It's like why did you even want to make plans and make me take off work if you were going to pull this shit.
Headbanging while riding a bike is dangerous as well. I was doing it probably early high school era in a neighborhood cul-de-sac and went down sideways. Friends got an extra kick out of it because apparently I was still heabanging while going down. And that, folks, is the most metal this softboy has ever been.
It's my day off so of course my internet decided to say screw you and basically not work at all today. on the other hand I rented Moonlight last night so I'm watching that until my internet comes back online.
I think the fact I had no internet was probably the best thing that could happen. I typically watch a movie and just casually stroll through social media/chorus. right now I was just forced to watch the movie and ignore my phone completely and what a great movie Moonlight was.
Yeah I hate watching movies on my computer because I get so distracted so I try to see them in theaters
My car made some sort of plastic snapping noise this morning. So clearly I'm going to spend all day worrying about my wheels falling off or something on my drive home
This guy I work with has had such a bad attitude towards me the past few days. Like idk what's going on with him, but if he can't handle a high stress job then he needs to look for something elsewhere. Always coming on to my shift to shit not done and making sure it gets done when I do my rounds and reminding him because he's right there (not because I think he's not going to do it) and he gets very snappy with me.
It has it's ups and downs, but I wouldn't call it "awful". The job isn't for everyone. I also happen to work a shift that seems less cared about so I'm always working with agency workers that don't know what they're doing most of the time, while the shift before me is fully staffed and they can move a person or two on my shift but they don't and most of the people on the shift before me are lazy, don't care, and make up excuses.
Today someone unknowingly gave me the best compliment. Apparently I graduated with their husband but I didn't recognize their name and she was like "well you don't look like you would be into rodeo" And I was like bless u, that's what I strive for
