The majority of his disguises drew more attention to him if you ask me. Not to mention the big dudes following him around.

 

I feel like I remember Taylor Swift saying that's a reason she broke up with jake, cause he was always wanting to go in back ways or through weird tunnel ways to avoid being seen and she was like wah he doesn't wanna be seen with me, but I was always like... if that's an option like why wouldn't you?? I'm not even famous and I'd love to take back ways to avoid human interaction lol

 

seeing a post talking about greens make me happy as a produce man.

also it's spring cleaning time in my household and I'm glad I don't have much to cclean.

 

After that Kanye/Kim vs Taylor stuff, We KNOW it is absolutely possible for celebs to not be seen. It might be a pain in the ass but it could be done except for in Britney's case. Those paps going on her property and straight stalking her 24/7. She would have had to teleport to get out of her house. I would have broken that paps window too. I also LOVE that she hulk smashed the shit out of that window with just an umbrella.

 

and it's not just paps it's the fans too, imagine you finish a long day at work and a bunch of people want to take a selfie and get your autograph and if you don't you'll get a reputation of being an asshole

 

Yeah I think 2007ish was like the peak of celeb gossip and paps in terms of total invasiveness and like no pre-approved PR trained stuff. It was wild. Brit, lindsay, paris and nicole... it was all ridic

 

This makes me think of a podcast I'm currently obsessed with called Missing Richard Simmons

 

I still haven't listened, I'm so bad at checking out new podcasts

 

How do y'all consume all of this stuff like music, movies, books, Netflix/Hulu, podcasts, etc?

 

It's incredibly fascinating!

 

Is it scary? What's it about? I'm too lazy to google.

 

Alot of mine is at work.

Plus we don't have Cable so Hulu/Netflix is our main television

 

It's basically a guy trying to figure out why Richard Simmons disappeared into his home and hasn't come out in 3 years.

I find it so daunting hard to dedicate an hour and half to a movie or podcast so I only do that once or twice a week,but music I usually just listen to individual songs not albums and tv is at night

 

Me either until my wife said something about it. Makes sense why we haven't heard from him in awhile though

I don't like movies so sometimes I binge watch tv shows on Netflix but I haven't done that in a while. I read way too much which takes up a lot of my time. I always have music on whether it's loud or just in the background. Classical music is the best to listen to while reading. I watch a lot of sports too so I guess I do consume a good bit. I've never listed it out before.

 

yeah I don't watch sports and I only read a handful of books a year, I mostly read articles online so it's not like I'm not reading anything

 

Sadly, I only read computer science and math textbooks.

 

He's made statements saying he's fine but he's never delved into why he escaped. There are several batshit crazy ideas going around. He's under a spell by his witch house keeper, he's transitioning to a woman, etc.

I don't listen to music hardly ever anymore really. I read on my lunch break at work everyday typically. Sometimes at night before going to sleep if I'm not playing video games. Podcasts and audio books I listen to either at work when I'm not watching something or in my car.

 

I had heard somewhere that he quit doing the exercise stuff but I had no clue about him missing or being a hermit.

Not sure if you know who Casey Kasem is, he was a radio DJ back in the 90's which I listened to all the time, but it is such a bizarre story. He had Parkinsons and dementia and his wife banned his kids from his first marriage from seeing him while he was dying. One of the daughters got temporary conservatorship and the wife basically kidnapped him and took him out of state, said they were out of the country but he was found in Washington.

The got separate visitations and his daughter said he didn't want to be kept alive if he wasn't responsive and basically brain dead while the wife wanted him to be kept alive. He died of sepsis and the kids wanted an autopsy prob bc she was batshit and killed him or something so the wife kidnapped his body again and went to Canada and held onto the body for 6 months before he was buried in Germany I think it was. That's fucking WILD.
