Y'all I had the strangest uber trip last night. Okay first things first - he asked If I had any cash on me because he was low on gas and the direct deposit from Uber didn't kick in (and I didn't)v and it wasn't a problem for me or him but that was a strange start but it got weirder.

In the first four minutes dude tells me he is divorced, a recovering alocholic, asks if I have a girlfriend and then says "you just gotta wait and God will send ya down someone" (I said "hopefully" - he seemed pretty sure that's the plan tho), mentions he was an athlete, talk about the area (apparently living in Arnold most of my life makes me a "Arnold Boy") and he also told me to not "be concerned about being cool" or something like that RE: drinking. I thought he was possibly coked out or something until the alcoholic thing - who knows. He did keep looking back while I was talking which was distressing.

At one point he asked about music and he asked my favorite band and I said Brand New, he had never heard of them. The first band he asked if I liked was Cage the Elephant and I said sure, would probably rather talk about this and sort of control the topic, I was a lil worried he was gonna ask me about God or politics. Then the Black Keys, that sort of thing for a minute. Just shoot the shit for a minute, he was being very nice, said I seemed to know a lot about music (). With like 15 seconds left he tells me to check out some "80s New Wave Progressive British" bands and asks me if I've ever heard of the Smiths. I say "I love the Smith but Morrisey is an asshole" or something like that he goes "hell yeah" and that was about it. Good times!

 

This site helps me maintain my sanity while at work. I'd be tempted to look for a different job if they blocked it

 

i'm never in the mood...so....i just gotta be honest: i thought that chewbacca mom meme was stupid. everyone got mad at me but i don't give a fuck. it's literally someone in a mask laughing. i think it is particularly sad that people find that funny. don't care if you're offended.

 

nah that was dumb as heck.

 

I'm sad I didn't like subeme la radio as much as I was hoping. Like it's catchy and I added it on my Playlist but it sounds kinda similar to his other newer songs but less fun imo. Oh well!

when I first heard that song I thought it was bailando 2.0 but not as addicting as bailando was to me.

but also the video for subeme la radio was really cool for me. I've just really loved all his videos.

 

The guys laugh and the Daniel kid doing the walk and kinda posing/nodding cracked me up.
