I had been saving this to use today and I forgot! Happy Vday!! Rose accidentally booked them a Vday weekend at a nudist hotel lol
I thought my hour and 15 minute wait was long but the place my friend works at is having a 2 hour wait. Honestly at this point some company should might as well make heart shaped pizza for this month that you can cook at home.
New at work guy doesn't listen. I tell him to do something and he either doesn't do it or he does half of the job. It's annoying. And he also "complains" about things that have no reason for him to complain about. Like he would say how he can't do something on his own when people my size and myself have done that same thing by ourself. (Idk if I posted about it. I feel like I did or I wanted to and didn't get a chance). I feel it's pretty bad if he can't do this thing on his own and I and others can. Like you're twice my size. Smh
My phone broke yesterday so I've been MIA like omg I missed over 24hrs of internet what is even happening in the world?? I am buying a new phone tomorrow. I have always just used what android was available and now I have to choose. Input welcomed!! I was gonna buy the S7 Galaxy Edge cause idk it was there, but apparently I'm not authorized on my dad's account to buy a new phone without him and I'm like HELLO I'M A GROWN UP
I swear my dog has some kind of bread sense! She will whine and whine until I let her outside, and she runs right to a piece of bread. She just came to get me, was shaking all over and going crazy so I thought even though I just let her a few hours ago, she must really have to go. Nope. She just needed her bread fix and ran right to a whole hotdog bun and ate it. Her bread senses must have been tingling lol!
My neighbor feeds the birds bread. We've had multiple talks with her and finally got her to stop feeding them cheese puffs because my dog would find them all and eat them and then shit all over the floor. But she still throws out bread and I swear my dog knows exactly when the birds drop it in our yard somehow lol
So I have a couple questions about forum etiquette. It seems like people here generally do their best not to quote people. Is it a faux pas to quote someone even if it's the most recent post in a thread? Should I be liking posts that provide good but depressing/fucked up info? I like being informed, but "liking" shit about backwards racist fuckwads, and how humanity is swiftly killing itself and everything else along with it, makes me feel like I'm celebrating awful. I am old (in Internet years), and other than this site, and xbox live I don't do any sort of social media, so please be nice about my feebleness.
I quote whenever I want to respond to something but it really is better to read the whole thread before commenting bc you could re-post or multiple people could have answered that question like 20 times. The liking of ass backwards stuff for me is acknowledging that I see what you're saying and I agree that it's super fucked up. I still think about it sometimes like man I don't really want to like this bc it's bad news but I want them to know I'm not skipping over and I'm seeing what they're saying.
Thank you for clearing those 2 things up for me. ...I've been a cowboy for 25 years, so I know what pain is. I don't want any pain when I cath, and liberty life insurance makes sure I don't have any.
I sometimes feel like I should have a burner phone for calls and a smartphone for internet, but texting would be a pain and also having two phones is insane
Warning: I have a new phone that is not yet acclimated to the ridiculous way I type. Many autocorrect fails will be imminent. Beware.
I always feel like I'm getting screwed over at work one way or another. I found out that new people we're taking the class I'm suppose to take for a position I was offered. Yet I was never informed about the upcoming class so I have to talk to my boss tomorrow. I will fucking lose my shit if I have to wait longer for this position over NEW people. I've been at my job for nearly a year so I should get first priority. I bust my ass every day, most of the time I'm doing most of the work. There is no effort to hire people for 2nd shift so I'm always by myself. All the new hires work mostly first shift. New person today walked out for a smoke break in the middle of a bunch of call lights going off. So I had to answer all of them. I shit you not a light went off when this person wasn't even outside yet or about to walk outside. The patient had been waiting previously for like 10 minutes before they went outside. I'm so mad. I literally put all the patients to bed and the new person didn't really do anything.
This new doc in the ER is a lunatic. He's ordered full panels on every patient. When I went to get blood two of the patient said the doc hadn't seen them yet..so he's putting this shit in before he even sees them? Bloodwork is so expensive for the patients and I've been fucking running since I got here. There's a little lull rn but it won't be for too long.
Good lord my sleep schedule is fucked. I work 5 days a week from 5pm to around 1-2am (sometimes later depending on what needs to get done) and I'm not falling asleep until 4-5am. The problem being that I have to get up for school Monday-Thursday. Trying to fit in homework and the gym has been exhausting.
I would buy that phone just to play old timey Snake on it. Also for my buying of selling of drugs. Kidding, kidding. Is anyone else getting unseasonably warm weather this weekend? It's supposed to be in the high 50's/low 60's this weekend and I have a hate/love relationship with that. I love not freezing my ass off in a Wisconsin February, but I hate how this is just one more thing signalling the end of days.
It has been so cold and snowing like crazy so it being like 55 degrees today feels like summer beach weather.
There have been days when its like just about freezing in Maryland - then the next day will 50+. Been very strange. Its weird to see the effects of global warming happen before my eyes
