I don't understand how cars work either.

 

She wants to know why her check engine light came on and I was like bc it wants you to check your engine. She said why would I look at it if I don't really know what it does? I was like touche. Talked her through checking the oil. I told her to check her tire pressure, which she doesn't know how to do, so I walked her through that. I told her to check her gas cap and make sure it had clicked and VOILA! That was the problem but goddamn you would think I was trying to teach her Quantum Physics. I told her to google that shit from now on lol

 

I just bought Thursday tickets and a pair of Converse high top shoes. Apparently nothing has changed even a little since I was 15.

Burning candles fucks my allergies up so I don't have many but I smell everything to the point of being embarrassing to the people with me. I can stay in Yankee Candle for hours.

 

Apparently it's like a special wood wick candle or something? Idk everyone in my office freaked out at how much they've been wanting one and I was like idk what that is.......

 

I have a couple wood wick candles and they make my room smokey as hell. They smell great though.

 

One time I had one of those oil burner things on my nightstand and I was drunk and caught my body pillow on fire and got a little burnt running to put it in the shower and turn the water on.

 

I know a girl who is married and pregnant and I assumed she was my age or older but I found out she's 20 and I was like OH. Well my Sim just got promoted so who is the real winner of life? I think it's pretty clear.

 

lol i haven't played the sims in a long time! i was obsessed with TS1 (had all ex packs) and TS2

 

my girl & my sister are both into the sims. my sister even gets into the whole downloading and designing her own custom builds for downloading stuff that game apparently has(?). I was never able to get into them myself but god do I know plenty obsessed with the Sims lol.

 

I still need to get back into my sims bustin out game. My dude had just got a promoted and moved into his own house.

He basically was living a better life than me.

 

Me too! I would beg for all the Sims 1 stuff as a kid. I remember feeling ~scandalous for having Hot Date. Sims 2 is my fave. Sims 3 crashed and broke my computer lol.

I've been playing Sims 4 lately. Now that they've released more expansions it's less boring. I get to live in a haunted apartment and be a PR person! And there are food carts and (allegedly) protests so now I really get to live through my Sims lmao. My sim painted a political mural in front of the museum and I was like yes get it sis!!

 

Tonight is such a meh night

 

my parents and siblings are going to the snow tomorrow for the day and I'm bitter I have to work. I've missed out on so many great things bexause work.

Thankfully though my cousins are coming into town and we are going to a basketball game and our favorite barbecue place.

 

I just met my friends foster kid. He's amazing. He asked for his favorite song and it was The Call by BSB. He's eight! He sang along and then when Shape of my Heart came on he made us hush so he could solo. Then when I got outta the car he was like "hey I'm almost bigger than you! How old are you?" Lol. He also asked if I had a husband and I said no and he said "oh so you're all alone?" Lmao thanx

 

My friend adopted a kid with cerebral palsy and he's my hero. I can't imagine the responsibility that must take.

 

At first I was like I could totally do this! But as the night wore on and he got more hyper and rough housey I was like noooooope still clearly not ready.
