I was having a bad day until I read that Carly Rae is performing at the NHL All Star game. I proceeded to just listen to her discography and I'm no longer having a bad day. I'm now just dancing around my room singing all her songs.
I'm a hater. I try not to be but not really cause I hate a lot of music and popstars and I enjoy talking about it lol. 21 Pilots I heard on the radio and hated and then i found out later it was them. My taste is trash tho but it's cool.
Retook Meyers-Briggs for the first time in years and my output changed. Shit if this description don't fit me to a T though.
I'm that annoying person who is all vague, but I found out a very big artist is playing here and I'm like wtf?? Not an artist I really like, but a big artist and we just don't get those here and I'm still confused. But it hasn't been announced yet so I can't say anything!! I don't even like them but I will prob go to support us getting music here. Tho I could probably hear it from my house for free. When did my town decide to start getting with it tho? Participating in the protest? Getting big musicians? Am I in the Twilight zone?
Eh it's truly nobody exciting in terms of musical output. I'm just surprised they'd play in the middle of nowhere and aren't country lol
I feel like the standard response to meeting someone's baby is saying they're cute, but what if you don't think they are? Do you lie and say they are anyway or are you like........ what a cute outfit? I mean I wasn't a cute baby imo so like I've been there.
"Wow, that's a human being! Look at those two eyes, and two hands, and one mouth! That living creature sure does have your DNA!"
I hate twenty one pilots, which is why I had very conflicting feelings about their set being fun at Boston Calling music festival back in 2014. if you have to listen to them, outdoors in the sun while buzzed seems like the ideal environment. also have to give them props for having the drummer crowdsurfing across the crowd on a wooden platform (while playing the drums)
Tell em they look so much like their parents, see if the parents act weird when you say so. That way you can find you if they recognize their baby is ugly. lol
I just say they're cute. I know it's lying but it's a level of integrity I'm willing to sacrifice just because I know I'd get taken seriously if I said otherwise. Unless it's a very close friend in which case I'll just make jokes nonstop. I dunno, it just personally feels okay for me to say "Yeah it's a cute baby" to make the parents happy and for the baby to hear positive assuring things (even if they don't understand it). But I definitely understand why people would dance around it if they didn't feel that way.
Babies are an example of where lil white lies are "alright." No need to be offensive and be like 'nah actually the baby looks like a mutant potato" or something, and no need to really overthink "the honest response" because you know the parents are so happy and proud of their baby in the first place.
Yeah I kinda feel the same with baby names too. Like I always hear parents say "everyone we meet says they love their name!" And I just think... would anyone really tell you the truth if they didn't tho? Like... and I feel like I can join that weird name club too lol. My nephew had a huge cone head when he was born and I was like omg when he came out. Even my sis is like dang I had mom vision cause I didn't even notice until I looked back on pictures. It happens lol! I'm not gonna insult a baby to its or its family's face but I do think lots of newborns look like aliens
I just LOVE when my friends invite me out to go do stuff and then they hit me with the "oh can you be the driver and use your car."
I hate sign language. It goes too fast and there's too much cause it's see sign and the teacher is not left handed so I'm always like wtf am I doing it right?? I cannot.
