i order a pizza

hand toss large with pepperoni , meatball, onion, green pepper with ranch seasoing crust breadstick adn brownies

i go to store 20 minutes later

cashier: hi pickup?
me: yes for gordon
cashier: oh yes im sorry we ran out of meatballs
me: excuse me?
cashier: yes im sorry
me: why are you just telling me now?
cashier: im sorry?
meL why didnt yall call me before i came?
cashier: well uhhh we still made it
me: but you said your out of meatballs!!!
cashier: yes im sorry
me: so then you didnt make my ****ing order!!!
cashier: sir im sorry
me: this is the 3rd time you guys havent had meatballs
cashier: sir i understand
me: apologizing aint getting those meatballs here. i knew i should have ordered dominos
(manager walks up)
manager: whats going on
me oh you guys ****ing me over again
manager: huh?
(cashier explained)

me: yea ive heard that before
manager: sir im gonna personally give you 10 percent off
me: 10 percent? how about you take that 10 percent and get a gosh damn meatball (slammed counter)

Sounds frustrating, sorry about that. From your description, you treated the cashier really poorly, though.

I just wanted to say, if you go into a grocery store, or a restaurant, or (god forbid) a movie theater, and you see an employee with their mask below their nose or mouth for a second, please don't berate us, or (as I see often) call us out on social media. We are wearing masks for easily 8+ hours at a time, and sometimes your face gets hot, or you need to re-adjust it, what have you. Maybe don't be so quick to assume that people who are making sure you can still get your food are shitty or inconsiderate. Just a thought.
