This might sound terrible but every time I hear New Romantics by Taylor Swift, I for some reason think of teenage dream by Katy perry.

 

I got my DNA results back! Some of it I kinda have to guess bc it isn't like real specific. It says things like 37% Europe West and lists all the countries but knowing I'm German I'm assuming it's that. The biggest shock was I'm only 6% Italian. That's what my family (on my dad's side who I'm closest to) celebrates the most. We have an Italian Christmas Eve, everyone cusses at each other in Italian, etc lol So that was funny to me. I knew I was English and Irish which it confirmed. Then I have ones that are all 5% or less that I didn't know about (Spanish, Europe East, Caucasus, and Scandinavia). I had to call my grandma bc she insisted I had to be Scandinavian bc I'm pale (ummm okay lol) but turns out she was right kinda and I'm 2% Overall I'm happy with it and think it's really cool to see!

 

Darn I should've done it too!! That's cool!

 

I've spent the whole day calling my family and telling them the results and now they are all thinking of doing it. My brother is already reading up on everything and him and his wife are thinking about doing it as a kinda Christmas gift for themselves. I hope my brother does it bc I think it will be really interesting to see how different or similar our results are. This stuff is sooo cool to me.

 

people were getting mad at me for putting all the produce away when we had like 10 minutes until we closed.

I wanted to yell back at people "IM NOT THE ONE SHOPPING WHEN THE STORE CLOSES IN 10 MINUTES ON NEW YEARS EVE"

I wasn't paying attention much but my cousin was like "I swear Britney used to dance a lot more."

this toxic performance was dope tho.

 

tbh even in her peak she did a lot of the arm choreo and hair flipping she does now. Her strength was always her undeniable stage presence and fire. I can't think of a single pop newbie who has that sort of presence. But dancing wise I think she gets a hard time because she was so good in her peak, but rn she's no worse than Selena, Katy, Taylor, Ariana, etc. She's def not at the top of her game and she's had knee surgeries and stuff so I wouldn't expect her to be, but I wish she would at least rerecord some "live" vocals to lip to lol

 

I JUST WATCHED HER PERFORMANCES AND SHE'S LITERALLY SO AMAZING WHEN WILL UR FAVES SERVE CRISP CLEAR ALBUM VOCALS WHILE DANCING AND ACTUALLY NOT LOOKING LIKE A BABY DEER TRYING TO WALK FOR THE FIRST TIME AND SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL I CANNOT HANDLE IT

 

I'm just going to post a weekly this song is amazing and I love hearing it at work.

 

I ate some food earlier that apparently upset my stomach so bad that I was constantly throwing up in my work's bathroom for like 10 minutes.

I was embarrassed and I asked them to send me home. My day has been terrible.

 

I think I play TE for the Houston Texans because immediately after waking up this morning I accidentally gave myself a mild concussion

 

I smacked myself last night in the head with an apple box and a co-worker saw and they were like "Jonathan I think you just might have gave yourself a concussion."

Glad you're managing. If that happened to me, I'd probably set a doctor's appointment up to rule out if it was anything serious. Sounds like it should subside even further in your case

 

I don't know whats going on in this thread but I need to explain to y'all what just happened to me today. Big snow storm on the east coast fucking shit up everywhere. Nobody in their right mind would go out to drive, can't even see 10 feet in front of you. That said, I'm performing in an off-broadway show this weekend and need to get to the last rehearsal. So I need to drive to the Long Island Rail Road and get into Manhattan. So I shovel out my car and start making my way, get to the station and none of it is plowed. I get stuck in the lot, manage to make my way out of it, and try to find a spot with less snow. I get stuck again, get out of it, and decide to drive around the block to a different lot. I get stuck AGAIN. This time I'm fucked. I'm on a main road, deep in a snow bank, and for some ungodly reason this area wasn't plowed at all. Call my dad who is going to come. Great. Its been 20 minutes and he's still not here and I had a shovel in my trunk and decide to try to get out myself. No bueno. He eventually arrives, works his car magic, and boom I'm out. He drives me to the train, and I get to Manhattan. Beautiful. Now, the subways are a little messed up right now, and don't want to deal with them, so I decide to hit up a Lyft. Driver arrives, and as I'm walking to the car someone else enters the car. I'm very confused and immediately realized what happened. Driver drives away with random dude, and I cancel the ride. I hit up a new ride and the driver says he's there, but is nowhere to be found. I cancel and try again...Its the first driver! He calls and says he had been waiting at the corner because he realized he fucked up. I get in and go on my way and I've finally made it. I left my house at 2 planning to take a 2:15 train. I got to the venue at 5:20. All time weird day

 

I feel like one day I just woke up and everyone I know irl was talking about Bitcoin. Did something extra happen or did they all just catch on at once

 

It went up in value I think even though I have no clue how that happens

 

Not actually just saying screw it and buying bitcoin when I first heard about it is one of my greatest regrets in life
