I did that yesterday when my Fresno boss called me at like 7 am to work over there in a closing shift and I was like smh why did I do this to myself.

 

About to have my final shift at the job I've been at for just over 3 years. Right now it still feels surreal, not sure how I'll feel once it's time for me to clock out for good. I have a feeling I'm gonna get pretty emotional tbh, I love a lot of these people.

 

At the Doctor office now and there was a box to check asking if a note for school or work is needed. I checked yes of course because my boss doesn't listen to availability. So they fux with my schedule, I get doctors note saying no.

 

I found out today that I work 6 days next week so I would have worked 13 days out of 14 days including this week. My only day off is next Sunday.

Fun stuff.

 

I am just watching music videos on MTV Classic and they're making me watch a sneak peak of their Siesta Key show like they're trying to bring back the Hills or something but even more scripted and unattainable. If we're gonna being stuff back I need all those trashy ...Of Love shows and Charm School back.

 

oh yeah and to top off my previous thing my work said I have to push back my vacation a week to allow another employee to take vacation that week. Sigh.

Now they're playing Photograph by Nickelback and he says "LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPH" and then holds it up to the screen all close up and it seems v. aggressive and forceful. It's like the meme of Harry potter and the goblet of fire movie where Dumbledore is like DID YA PUT UR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIYAH HARRY?!

It is pretty great. They played These Words by Natasha bedingfield which ends with "I love you, is that okay?" And then they played pussycat dolls don't cha right after which starts with "ok" and I'm like omg its like they replied to her!!

girl they play bedingfield all the time at my work and I am so singing it. The I love you part is just so singable and I love it heh.

 

Omg now they're playing lady marmalade. I need to go to bed but I can't stop.

They just played Leave (get out) by JoJo and it was so of the time and she was wearing a shirt that said Boys Stink and it was the best. Idk I get directv included in my rent and MTV Classic is in the package!! They play music videos all day. Sometimes it's 80s or 90s themed but it's a Siesta Key block of like all early and mid 00s songs the last few hours!!

 

I need to go check if I have this but knowing my luck, that would have been part of the package that my parents cancelled :(

 

Ok I've watched it long enough that they're just replaying the same videos. I'm simultaneously disappointed but glad that I have been freed! Now i can watch my novela.

I know everyone has their tastes but sometimes people pick the ugliest dresses on Say Yes to the Dress. I was watching one the other day where the sister like took over the appointment with her opinions but okay HER OPINIONS WERE RIGHT. She picked out a gorgeous dress and the moral of the episode was that u should listen to ur heart not ur family and I'm like okay but the sister was right lol. I've kinda been obsessing over champagne wedding dresses lately. This stupid show has made me care about wedding dresses.

 

A good drinking game would be to take a shot if they say yes to a tacky Pnina gown

 

so I learned today that if you work more than 7 days in a row California law requires the 7th day work to be overtime.

My OG store Clovis didn't realize I was on overtime and let's just say they had a long talk with me and I have to talk with the store manager about my trips to help the Fresno store.

Sigh. They sent me home 4 hours early.
