Co worker tried to guilt trip me into working later tomorrow (and made an 'excuse' to why). Um no. I'm already coming in on my day off after working so many hours. Plus if I work until later, might as well do a regular shift because it makes no sense. I only agreed to come in early the following morning weeks ago was because I had the previous day off, but now I don't and I still have to go in early that day.

I said I'll work ON MY DAY OFF. I didn't even get a thank you for coming in. Wtf

last night I was listening to Huey Lewis while I drove home at like midnight and it was the best thing ever.

 

Y'all I am cursed!!! My friend is eating at a restaurant in Cleveland and she texts me that they are just handing out free tickets to see Thursday!!! I still can't find anyone to go! I am about to just explode I swear!

 

how far away are you from the venue? Can you uber? we need to make this happen. It'll be your epic adventure story!!!

I'm an hour and 15 mins from the venue so it would cost over $100 just to get there and back . my friend doesn't know who they are so has no interest

 

I am too invested in this saga. No lie I will paypal you money. I will convince your friend to go with you (even if she doesn't have interest she needs to support you tbh!!!). This needs to happen. Everybody should get to see Thursday. This is not a drill.

 

I posted it on FB and instagram in a moment of desperation. Idc if I gotta go with some asshole from high school at this point!

 

Question:

I've heard it's considered "wrong" to wear a shirt of the band you are seeing to that specific show.

Yet you wear shirts and shit of the sports team you're going to see.

I don't get the difference or why people say it's "wrong" to wear the shirt of the band you're seeing.

 

Because those ppl are silly billys and the "rule" makes no sense

Come in to work to help on your DAY OFF and co workers complain about you having to leave at a certain time. Y'all are lucky I even came in. Smh

Things I am learning at this baby shower:

1. People like to talk about their own kids at them and it's super boring if you don't have any

2. Other guests ask you things like "should I know who you are?" I mean no? I'm not Cher.

3. White people love baby showers*

I went to a baby shower last year and all the women at this one table were cheating at the games you play. They were legit about to fight each other over who *actually* won. All of that and the prize was a plant that was half dead or a travel size lotion. And those games are really weird and I don't get it. Smashed up candy bars in a diaper and you are supposed to guess what kind they are?? Why??

Yep. Or making a diaper out of toilet paper and wrapping it around someone. It's v. wasteful

 

You know what else is weird? Gender reveal parties and cakes

 

Or when they do the gender reveal, but the baby pops out of the cake like a stripper

 

I go on so many rants about gender reveal parties when they're so gender stereotype conforming. Like ones that are all "Glitter or Guitar?" Wtf even is that???
